Woodie S. Sharpless

Founder

Woodie has held numerous positions providing Program Management, Governance, and Business and Policy Process Re-engineering services to the Government. He spent 8 years on Active Duty in the U.S. Army culminating with his service at the White House Communications Agency (WHCA) where he served as a Presidential Coordinator providing premier, worldwide, vital information services and communications support to the President of the United States and his staff.

Woodie founded SSi with the vision of utilizing the strengths of individuals to provide business solutions to meet the expectation of customers. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Information Technology from Capella University.

Loretta J. Sharpless

Chief Financial Officer

Loretta is the Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of SSi with over 20 years of financial management experience within small corporations. Loretta has extensive experience and demonstrated success in streamlining business operations that drive growth and increased efficiency to improve the bottom-line results. As CFO, Loretta is responsible for the overall financial management of the company, its financial reporting and transparency, and for multiple corporate functions including Controller, Treasury, Investor Relations, Tax and long-range planning. She graduated with honors from Fayetteville State University with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting.

Gary K. Miller

Director of Operations

Gary has over 15 years’ experience in directly related activities such as operational contract, prime contract management, task order compliance, contract administration, marketing, recruiting, human resource management, and strategic outreach initiatives. His undergraduate degree in the Accounting discipline along with his experience in providing Contract oversight of a multitude of GWAC’s, Multiple Award Schedules (MAS), Blanket Purchase Agreements (BPA’s), and Federal Supply Schedules (FSS), has prepared him for prior roles such as the Contractual Program Manager for DHS EAGLE II, Program Manager of Alliant Small business, Contract level Project Manager of GSA STARS, GSA MOBIS, GSA IT-70 and MOBIS schedules, in addition to providing Contract level Program Management. Gary has had direct contributions with execution of proprietary legal agreements in support of task order proposal support and task order execution and has provided strategic teaming, pricing to win analysis, in support of over 300 or more proposals over his decades long career.
